Refugio Mountain Retreat is known for having some of the best private hiking trails in all of Puerto Rico. Explore over five miles of scenic trails with 360 views of the Cordillera Central and most of the islands tallest peaks including 4,300 foot Cerro de Punta and Tres Picachos. The trails offer a wide variety including sections that wind through the jungle as well as along scenic ridges and mountain tops and through Caribbean pine forests. You’ll experience elevations between 2,000 and 3,000 feet.
